Owner approval in Wallet Manual
These terms supplement the Terms of Service for Wallet Manual and its supported Connectors. ODEI provides non-custodial wallet software in the Manual signing flow, together with hosted preparation, backup and delivery infrastructure. Read the risk disclosure and Privacy Notice before use.
Proposals and your approval
Wallet Manual lets you prepare and review supported blockchain operations. You or a connected application may request a proposal. The proposal may include software-generated parameters, protocol quotes, fees, spending approvals, or several related calls. Review the assets, network, amounts, recipient, contract permissions, and other terms presented before approving. A request from a connected application is not your wallet signature.
Keys and local access
The Manual wallet generates or unlocks its private key on your device. The normal signing and encrypted-backup flows do not send ODEI your wallet password or unencrypted private key. If you enable remembered access, encrypted key material and the browser mechanism used to unlock it are retained in that browser. Protect your device, browser profile and recovery material, and use the wallet's lock controls when needed. The hosted application and its software updates are part of the software you rely on to handle your keys correctly.
Recovery and backup
You are responsible for preserving your recovery material. The hosted Wallet Manual setup saves a password-encrypted backup with your ODEI profile after the authorization presented during setup. ODEI stores this encrypted backup and associated account and backup records. Current signing access through the hosted interface requires an available, synchronized profile copy. Account sign-in alone does not replace the password or recovery material required to unlock the wallet. ODEI cannot recover a forgotten wallet password from that encrypted backup. The backup authorization does not itself authorize a transaction.
Signed operations and delivery
After you approve and release a signed transaction, order, cancellation or message, ODEI may retain the signed payload and send it to the relevant network or protocol. Depending on the integration, signed data may also be returned to the connected application that requested it. A signed payload can be used within its signed terms; releasing it is more than saving a draft.
Retries and recovery
An uncertain on-chain submission result does not by itself authorize a new dispatch through ODEI. Its explicit recovery flow requires owner confirmation before resending the retained transaction. A limited transport retry may send the same signed transaction to another RPC provider following a rate-limit refusal. CoW orders have a separate delivery process: after you release the signed order or cancellation, ODEI may retry its delivery under the applicable order rules. Checking such an order's status through a connection with proposal permission can trigger delivery or redelivery. These deliveries use the existing signature and do not require a new wallet signature.
Permissions can outlast the review
A signature can authorize a batch of calls, a token allowance, a protocol order, a smart-account change, or another permission with continuing effects. Third-party contracts may subsequently act under that permission. The Manual setting does not revoke existing token allowances, smart-account modules, delegations or previously released signatures. Disconnecting an application, signing out, or deleting a proposal in ODEI does not by itself revoke an on-chain permission or guarantee cancellation of an external order. Revocation or cancellation may require a separate operation under the applicable wallet or protocol rules.
Submission and cancellation
A locally cancelled proposal, an expired ODEI review window, and a cancelled blockchain transaction or protocol order are different states. ODEI cannot guarantee that a transaction already broadcast, or a signature already released, can be recalled. A cancellation request can race with execution or settlement. A transaction may fail, remain pending, or be affected by a chain reorganization; network fees may still apply. Status information depends on the relevant network and service responses.
Third-party protocols
Manual can prepare interactions with independent protocols, including transfers, swaps, bridging, lending and staking where supported. Those protocols determine their own execution, settlement, withdrawal and liquidation rules. Depositing assets into a protocol changes the rights and technical controls applicable to those assets. Risks include smart-contract failure, loss of liquidity, price movement, liquidation, bridge failure, and loss of assets. An AI-generated proposal or displayed estimate is not a guarantee of suitability, price, completion or return.
Costs
Network and protocol charges may apply, including charges for failed transactions. Review the available cost information before signing. Estimates can change before confirmation or settlement. Any ODEI service charge is governed by the applicable pricing terms; network gas estimates are not a statement that all ODEI services are free.
Other services and applicable law
These provisions describe Wallet Manual. Using DeFi infrastructure does not remove applicable law or the terms of connected providers. Nothing in these provisions excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
