ODEI

Connect your AI to ODEI

Pick the AI you use. Setup takes about a minute: you add ODEI in your AI’s settings, sign in to ODEI and approve access. No install, no API key.

Prefer your language? Ask your AI: “Help me connect to ODEI”. It reads https://my.odei.ai/llms.txt and guides you in your language.

Claude

Open Claude with ODEI pre-filled

Team or Enterprise owner? Add it for your organization

  1. On the Claude website, open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.

  2. Name it ODEI, paste this server URL and connect. Sign in to ODEI and allow access.

    https://my.odei.ai/mcp
  3. Add ODEI once on claude.ai in any browser (a phone browser works) or in Claude Desktop; the Claude mobile app cannot add connectors. Then use the same Claude account in the mobile app: in a chat, open + → Connectors and switch ODEI on.

  4. Check it works: send Claude this message. If it answers from your ODEI account, you are connected.

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when Customize → Connectors lists ODEI as connected; in a chat, + → Connectors shows it switched on.

If it fails: Claude could not reach the server? Check the server URL matches the one above exactly. The Free plan allows one custom connector: remove the other one first.

ChatGPT

Open ChatGPT Plugins

  1. Open Plugins → + → Add custom MCP server. Name it ODEI and paste this server URL.

    https://my.odei.ai/mcp
  2. Choose OAuth and leave Client ID and Client Secret empty so ChatGPT registers itself (Dynamic Client Registration if asked). Tick “I understand and want to continue”, then select Create as a plugin.

  3. In the ODEI window, select Sign in with ODEI, then sign in to your ODEI account. Review the permissions and select Allow access.

  4. Install ODEI from your personal Plugins if it is not marked Installed. Start a new chat, type @ and select ODEI, then send this message:

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when ODEI shows as Installed in your Plugins and @ODEI answers in a new chat.

If it fails: No “Add custom MCP server” under +? Turn on Developer mode in Settings → Security and login, reload Plugins and try again. On Business, Enterprise and Edu, an admin must allow it.

Grok

Open Grok connectors

  1. On grok.com/connectors in any browser (a phone browser works), open New Connector → Custom. Adding a custom connector in the Grok mobile app is not documented; add it on the website, then use the same account in the app.

  2. Enter ODEI as the name and paste this URL into Server URL. Create the connector, complete OAuth sign-in to ODEI and select Allow access.

    https://my.odei.ai/mcp
  3. Start a new Grok chat and ask Grok to use ODEI.

  4. Check it works: send Grok this message. If it answers from your ODEI account, you are connected.

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when grok.com/connectors shows ODEI as connected.

If it fails: Sign-in failed or tools missing? Open the ODEI connector on grok.com/connectors and choose Reauthenticate instead of adding a second one.

Gemini

Open Gemini apps

  1. In a browser on your computer, phone or tablet, open gemini.google.com → Settings → Connected apps → Custom apps, if your account has that option.

  2. Enter the ODEI server URL and complete ODEI sign-in and permission approval. Never enter a wallet secret or another provider’s API key.

    https://my.odei.ai/mcp
  3. Use the same Google account in the mobile app and select ODEI.

  4. Check it works: send Gemini this message. If it answers from your ODEI account, you are connected.

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when ODEI appears under Settings → Connected apps.

If it fails: No Custom apps under Connected apps? This Google account is not eligible yet: use Gemini CLI, Antigravity or another AI on this page.

Gemini CLI

  1. Use Gemini CLI only with Gemini Code Assist Standard/Enterprise or your own paid Gemini API key from Google (ODEI itself needs no key). Otherwise use Antigravity CLI.

  2. Run this in your terminal. This adds ODEI to ~/.gemini/settings.json for all projects. Remove it anytime with gemini mcp remove --scope user odei.

gemini mcp add --transport http --scope user odei https://my.odei.ai/mcp/coding
  3. Or add it by hand to ~/.gemini/settings.json. If that file already has an mcpServers object, add only the odei entry inside it.

    { "mcpServers": { "odei": { "httpUrl": "https://my.odei.ai/mcp/coding" } } }
  4. Start gemini, run /mcp auth odei, sign in to ODEI in the browser and approve; then run /mcp to check that odei is connected.

  5. Check it works: send Gemini CLI this message. If it answers from your ODEI account, you are connected.

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when /mcp in Gemini CLI shows odei as ready with its tools.

If it fails: Gemini CLI sign-in needs a browser on the same computer, so it cannot finish over SSH or in a container. If odei still shows disconnected, run /mcp auth odei again.

  • Gemini CLI consumer access (AI Pro/Ultra and free individual accounts) ended on 2026-06-18. It needs a local browser, so it does not work over SSH or in containers.
  • Runs on a computer. Set it up there; phones cannot run this client.

Claude Code

  1. Run this in your terminal. It adds ODEI to this project folder only, and nothing goes into files you commit. For every project, use --scope user instead.

claude mcp add --transport http --scope local odei-remote-claude https://my.odei.ai/mcp/coding && claude mcp login odei-remote-claude
  2. Run it in your own terminal, not inside a Claude Code chat: sign-in needs your browser. Approve in the browser and you are connected. Already in Claude Code? Type /mcp, choose odei-remote-claude, then Authenticate.

  3. Check it works: send your agent this message. If it answers from your ODEI account, you are connected.

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when /mcp in Claude Code lists odei-remote-claude as connected.

If it fails: Browser says “refused to connect”? Claude Code stopped waiting: copy the link from the ODEI Connected page and paste it into Claude Code, or type /mcp, choose odei-remote-claude and select Authenticate again.

Codex

  1. Run this in your terminal. Codex keeps MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml for all projects. Remove it anytime with codex mcp remove odei-remote-codex.

codex mcp add odei-remote-codex --url https://my.odei.ai/mcp/coding
  2. Codex opens ODEI sign-in in your browser when it adds the server. Approve, and Codex finishes on its own. If no browser opened, run codex mcp login odei-remote-codex.

  3. Check it works: send your agent this message. If it answers from your ODEI account, you are connected.

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when /mcp in Codex lists odei-remote-codex with its tools.

If it fails: Over SSH or without a browser? Run codex mcp login odei-remote-codex --no-browser, open the link it prints on any computer, approve, then paste the link from the ODEI Connected page back into the terminal.

Cursor

Add to Cursor

Cursor runs on a computer: open this page there to use the one-click button.

Cursor not opening? Use the web installer

  1. Choose Add to Cursor above. Cursor opens with ODEI filled in; choose Install.

  2. Or by hand: In Cursor, open Settings, then Tools & MCP (MCP in older versions), and choose Add Custom MCP. If the file is empty, paste this as is; otherwise add the odei-remote-cursor entry next to your other servers inside the existing mcpServers object. Save. For one project only, put the same entry in .cursor/mcp.json inside that project instead.

    { "mcpServers": { "odei-remote-cursor": { "url": "https://my.odei.ai/mcp/coding" } } }
  3. Back in Cursor Settings, choose Connect (or Needs login) next to odei-remote-cursor. Sign in to ODEI in your browser and approve; Cursor finishes on its own. An older Cursor may ask to open Cursor: allow it.

  4. Check it works: send your agent this message. If it answers from your ODEI account, you are connected.

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when Cursor Settings → Tools & MCP shows odei-remote-cursor with a green dot and its tools.

If it fails: Sign-in did not finish? Cursor receives it on port 8787: quit any other app using that port, then choose Connect next to odei-remote-cursor again.

VS Code

Add to VS Code

VS Code runs on a computer: open this page there to use the one-click button.

Using VS Code Insiders? Install there

  1. Choose Add to VS Code above, allow the browser to open VS Code, then choose Install.

  2. Or run this in a terminal. It adds ODEI to your VS Code user profile only, nothing in your repository.

    code --add-mcp '{"name":"odei-remote-vscode","type":"http","url":"https://my.odei.ai/mcp/coding"}'
  3. When VS Code asks, allow odei-remote-vscode to sign in and complete ODEI sign-in in the browser.

  4. Check it works: send VS Code this message. If it answers from your ODEI account, you are connected.

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when MCP: List Servers shows odei-remote-vscode as running.

If it fails: No ODEI tools in Copilot Chat? Switch the chat to Agent mode and turn on odei-remote-vscode in the tools menu.

Other MCP client

  1. Chat apps: add a custom connector or remote MCP server with this URL.

    https://my.odei.ai/mcp
  2. Coding agents and IDEs: add a streamable HTTP MCP server with this URL.

    https://my.odei.ai/mcp/coding
  3. Sign-in uses OAuth with automatic client registration: leave client ID and secret empty, then sign in to ODEI in the browser and review access.

  4. Check it works: send your AI this message. If it answers from your ODEI account, you are connected.

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when your client lists ODEI tools such as odei_overview.

If it fails: Asked for a client ID? Leave it empty: ODEI registers your client automatically. Chat apps use /mcp, coding agents /mcp/coding.

Antigravity CLI

Antigravity CLI

  1. Run this in your terminal. It writes ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json.

    agy mcp add odei https://my.odei.ai/mcp/coding
  2. Authenticate: Agent settings (Cmd/Ctrl+,) → Customizations → Authenticate next to odei → sign in to ODEI → copy the code shown → paste it → Submit. Check with agy mcp list that odei is enabled.

  3. Check it works: send Antigravity this message. If it answers from your ODEI account, you are connected.

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when agy mcp list shows odei as enabled.

If it fails: odei listed but disabled? Run agy mcp enable odei, then choose Authenticate next to odei again.

  • Runs on a computer. Set it up there; phones cannot run this client.
Devin Desktop (Windsurf)

Devin Desktop (Windsurf)

  1. In Devin Desktop (formerly Windsurf), open Cascade → MCP menu → Open MCP config file (or Settings → Tools → Add Server).

  2. Add this entry. If servers already exist, add only the odei-remote-windsurf entry inside mcpServers. Save and refresh.

    { "mcpServers": { "odei-remote-windsurf": { "serverUrl": "https://my.odei.ai/mcp/coding" } } }
  3. When Cascade asks, sign in to ODEI in the browser and approve.

  4. Check it works: send Cascade this message. If it answers from your ODEI account, you are connected.

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when the Cascade MCP menu shows odei-remote-windsurf with its tools.

If it fails: Tools not showing? Refresh in the Cascade MCP menu. On a Teams plan, an admin allowlist blocks servers not on it.

  • Runs on a computer. Set it up there; phones cannot run this client.
Grok Build

Grok Build

  1. Run this in your terminal. Grok Build keeps ODEI for your user account. Remove it anytime from /mcps.

grok mcp add --transport http --scope user odei-remote-grok https://my.odei.ai/mcp/coding
  2. Run grok, type /mcps, select odei-remote-grok and press i to sign in to ODEI in the browser, then allow access.

  3. Check it works: send your agent this message. If it answers from your ODEI account, you are connected.

    Show my ODEI wallet

✓ Connected when /mcps in Grok Build shows odei-remote-grok as connected.

If it fails: Tools missing after sign-in? Open /mcps, select odei-remote-grok and reconnect, or restart Grok Build.

  • Runs on a computer. Set it up there; phones cannot run this client.

What ODEI sends your agent

ODEI sends your agent tool results only, never instructions to follow. Your agent should treat them as data.

Keep it small: add ODEI to one project, choose its access on the ODEI approval screen, and disconnect anytime in Connectors.

What your AI can do

Your AI proposes. You review and sign every transaction in ODEI.

On your phone?

Claude, Grok, Gemini: set up right here in this phone’s browser. Pick your AI above. The Claude app itself can’t add connectors: add ODEI on claude.ai in the browser, then switch it on in the app.

ChatGPT and coding agents: setup needs a computer. Send this page there.

Once ODEI is added, it appears in the same account’s mobile app.
